Alex Grubard is a stand-up comedian, writer, game show host and producer, but he is not a musician. His first album "Let Me Teach You How To Distill Gin" was released on Helium Comedy Records in 2021. Grubard is host and creator of Weeding Out The Stoned, which has been written about in Time Out New York, USA Today and many more reputable publications. He has performed sketch comedy on Comedy Central, stand-up on mtvU and heard on SiriusXM. Grubard has made appearances at Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Philly Fringearts, competed in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and is a multi-year finalist in Philly's Phunniest. Alex came up in the Philly comedy scene where he performed his wacky brand of stand-up regularly at Helium Comedy Club and Punch Line Comedy Club opening for headliners including Dave Attell, Tommy Davidson, Bobby Lee, Kevin Nealon and dozens more. Currently residing in New Jersey, Alex has been called, "The Mayor of Jersey City comedy," for his popular comedy nights at White Eagle Hall and Pet Shop. He refuses to learn an instrument.
