The Empire Comedy Classic is a Comedy Competition consisting of a maximum of 48 comedians, competing for a CASH PRIZE, a spot on the 2 Year Anniversary Weekend in December, as well as being added to Empire's rotation of comics opening for National Headliners. Comics will be challenged to perform for 5 minutes in Rd 1, and as they advance, the time of their performance will increase. The 3 comics that make it to the finals will perform for 18 minutes!
Submissions are $5 and will Open on Monday, March 17th, closing on Friday, April 18th.
Line-ups for Round 1 will be posted on Monday, April 21st

Rd 1: 12 Comics X4 ~ 5 minute (4 from each date move on)
May 29th
Rd 2: 8 Comics ~ 8 minutes (3 move on)
June 5th
Rd 2: 8 Comics ~ 8 minutes (3 move on)
June 12th
Rd 3: 6 Comics ~ 12 minutes (3 move on)
June 28th
FINALS: 3 Comics ~ (18 minutes)
THURSDAYS at 9PM! (finals are on Saturday, June 28th)
*Seating not guaranteed for General Admission; In the event of a SELL OUT, some GA ticket purchases will be standing room only. Arrive early to secure your seats. Preferred Seating tickets guarantee seating directly in front of the stage. Limited PS tickets available.*
Be on time... If you have not arrived at the venue 30 minutes after the start of showtime, your tickets will be cancelled and your seat may be sold to the next customer. No refunds will be given under this circumstance. Empire Comedy Club reserves this right on all ticketed events.
